September Moving to L.A.
Rumor has it... (well, the fairy Godmother in the Voiceover New Year's Resolution Contest said) that September is moving to LA. Is that true?
If so we need to connect you with people we know... like Joe Actor, and others who are in the area... and you'll be a one hour flight from me! We'll have to "do lunch" (at the airport? :) )

Awww...Thanks guys!! I am indeed going in late January/early February and I CANNOT wait! I'm absolutely terrified, but SO excited to run down this dream. It will be amazing to meet so many of you that I feel like I already know. I'll be posting my new address and phone number as soon as I get there. I've been so touched by everyone's well-wishes and tips and offers of help. Where are all the cut-throat meanies in this industry hiding??
 Julie mentioned my entry into the New Year's contest where my Fairy Godmother wrote in on my behalf. I choose to enter in this manner because I do feel that this trip has been magical. Just a girl, born and raised in the South who managed to somehow avoid an accent, buying two books to try and learn about this industry, contacting my real world Fairy Godmother - Catherine Sheehan (who I just happened to Google and who spent the better part of an hour talking to a complete newb about how to get started), trying to carve a path....and it happened! :) A most heartfelt "thank you" to everyone who offered guidance and care and especially those who continue to do so. My cup overrunneth, indeed!

Its great to see your VO career taking off like it is. Good luck with your move to SoCal and I'm sure you'll love it down there. You will certainly be in great company with all of the great VO folks in LA. One day I would like to move back down there. I sure miss the place having been born there and all. I wish you nothing but great success in your VO adventures.
