Very cool. There are a ton of these videos out there and it always kills me to see some of the VO folks voicing in what appears to be a bedroom with the mic on the dresser. Must be the Sennheiser 416 they are using that allows them to get away with it.

Best part of that?? The hands! I call it "conducting" the performance. I teach my students that for every word, for every idea, conduct the vocal performance with your hands. It will guarantee your intent mind for of the vocal performance. If you have a habit of reading too fast or slow, using your hands to conduct intent will always enable you to read at the appropriate pace, with the intended intent.
Also, if everyone had the confidence at the mic that Don, George, and Ben have, you'd be amazed at how the bookings would increase! -- |

My wife is always telling me that I couldn't talk if my I didn't have my hands... I use them all the time!
