Default VOPlanet.com

Have you guys tried VOPlanet.com?

They're pretty cool. You'll find some of the same leads that are on voicebank and on voice123...except the REAL price is listed... instead of a lower price like v123 usually has it listed. (Not v123, but some anonymous client there)

Far fewer leads... but they are mostly good ones... leads for thousands of dollars.

More for men than women, though.

If you decide to sign up, pls use me as a reference.

Good Luck!
Julie

Hmmm... wish I could get a better feel for the number and type of leads.

Do they have any type of "trial" or "examples" page?

I'd like to hear from others using the service too...

Thanks Julie!

I'm with them, and like them a bunch. I might like them even better when I land a gig, but in one month I've been sent four substantial, juicy, professional leads. I stabbed at three of them.

Like other sites, it's a playground. But I do get the feeling that they kind'a like voice people.

Well, Joe, They're run by the same people who run Voicecasters talent agency in Atlanta. I've never seen a $100 lead on there. While there aren't many leads... one was for a gig for a client who paid last year's talent about $30K. Some others are some of the same leads that I get from certain agents... (the bigger national talent search jobs)

I don't know if they offer a free trial or not. I just paid the $200 and signed up to try it.
I do receive emails to tell me there's a job there... but then I have to go and look thru all the leads to find it... not difficult, really. The good thing, I noticed that you can post twice. So if you make a mistake, you can change and upload again.

You do have a profile there... but you just upload your demo/audition with no comments...and client contacts you.

I've been with Michelle(voicecasters) for a few years now and let me tell you she gets the premium clients and money for her talent. VOPlanet is just part of her and Donna's evolution. Great site with the best talent and clients

I joined VO Planet back in November, and I agree that although the leads are fewer -- they're pretty good. Most average $1,000 and up, and several are union. I would say I receive on an average about 1, sometimes 2, really good auditions a week. --Yes, there are more for men though..

Julie, you mentioned the auditions on Voicebank. Do you know how we can access them, or are they just for Agents to access?

Thx, Marian

Mariann,
I don't think we can directly access auditions from voicebank.net. I believe only agents have access to them. But I have two agents who routinely get me auditions from there. They're the same auditions that are sometimes posted by an anonymous person for less money on voice123.

The agents who send me these Auditions are Denise of Actor's Etc. in Houston, and Vic of Airwave Talent, Cleveland area.
