Default Just a little venting...

Hey gang,

Please forgive me, but I need to vent a bit.

I got a personal email invitation to join an online group (post-production people mostly). After sending in my information to the guy, and being approved, I was sent the "rules". They allow for a brief introduction with web site links.

So, I read a couple posts, including one welcoming 28 new members and asking them to introduce themselves.

I posted a brief intro, with a link to my web site.

This morning, my message on the group had been removed, with this reply from the moderator who invited me:
"Ok, now I remember why we donšt allow actors on the site. Išll take care of this one."

Harumph!

Nothing like getting an invite to a party, being let in the front door, then thrown out the back!

Ok, I'm over it.
(maybe not)

How incredibly rude! Especially to such a sweet guy as yourself.

and "I'll take care of this one"... what the heck is that? Like you're some kind of mess that needs to be cleaned up. I don't like it. I don't like it at all.

(I'm very protective of my fellow contributors on these boards)

Yeah, I'm with John... I'm a feisty Sicilian so they REALLY have gotten themselves in quite the.. PICKLE!!!! -- just had to! Can't wait til I get mine!

Sounds like we've got the makings of a new gang...

How about "The Audio Pickles"?

(I can see it on a leather jacket now),

I'm scared to ask what the gang sign might be... :)

That really bites, Joe. To be invited and then pushed out like that? Something's not right with those folks. Don't let it drag you down. It's their loss, my friend! Hang in there!

Thanks for the support everyone...

I'm just playin' it Joe Cool for now.

I am still on the list, and it may yet prove to be a good networking source.
