Please be very careful regarding this post... stating names and contact information can be very hazardous (legally) to Julie and her crew. Liable can be very, very damaging and is hard to prove, but even harder to disprove.

When posting this type of item, do not give names or contact information.

Thank you.

Default Some Bad Press could be the fixer!

Sorry to read of your troubles. There have always been those who skillfully prey on others and unfortunately, it is very hard to separate the good from the bad. If you believe in Karma, it will sort itself out eventually.

Have you considered contacting the Boston Globe or other news orgs in Boston? A good letter to the editor might get them to send a reporter over to ask some difficult questions? Most papers know that occasionally fighting for the underdog sells papers. And most business know that a little bad press can punish the bottom line for a very long time. Just a thought.

Contacts at the Globe are listed in this link.

It's not a bad thing to put peoples names out there. Whether they are public contacts or not. It is what is said about those names that lends itself to libel. You can say George Washinton....but you can't say George Washington cheated me out of money and is therefore a thief. Accusing someone of something in print is called libel....true or not they can come after you for those types of things. Hopefully that helps. You have to be careful about what you print. What would ultimately happen is they would sue the owner of the forum.

Thanks for understanding, everyone! I removed names and contact info.
I have clients who I am frustrated with as well... but the legal liability for postings of specific info on this forum is mine.

I think it would be best in the future if we all explained a situation and then had interested individuals PM us if they want to know the name of the client.

There's one I won't work for who regularly posts on voices.com, if anyone's interested...just PM me. He wants spots for $75 and takes months to pay. (But he does eventually pay)
