Thanks for sharing this article with us. I think some of those tips can be useful in trying to capture dialects and accents as well.

Plus I'm familiar with Chicago, so after reading the article, I clicked on the 'Dear Abby' link to see what she was up to nowadays. Nothing's changed!

The only thing that has changed for Dear Abby is that she died about two years ago. Her column is now being written by two female relatives. We wish her luck in her new location.

That was an interesting article. I can't agree more about Jonathon Winters. He's one of my heroes for sure as is Robin Williams.
