Default Who Got The Gig?

Please feel free to tell us what you've voiced lately here...

YOu may have landed a gig that a lot of people auditioned for. We'd love to hear the audition you sent that landed you the gig!

I voiced the Betty Thomas portion of Women In Film/Chicago's video presentation shown at their Focus Awards luncheon that was held last week. It gave me an opportunity to record with people who may have never thought to call me in to audition for a project and increase the number of people who will have heard my work.

Congrats Arlene!

I get notices for Women in Film events out here in LA, but haven't gone to a meeting yet. They seem like a very active group.

Kudos!,

I recently landed the lead voice role in a major videogame, based on a long-running movie franchise. I'm holding my tongue on the actual details for now (don't want to violate any NDAs before they're even signed), but I will update as I know more.

Arlene - Very cool. I'm real happy for you.

David - Sound exciting. Man, we gotta talk. I would kill to voice a part in a big name game. Good luck. Let us know when the game hits the street.

I just did some character/supplemental voice work for WMMR, a rock station in Philly as part of a production package. Also landed the main voice gig at Classic Rock WZOW in South Bend, IN, a month or so ago. Trying to branch out with the character-y stuff, but as a radio dood... I'm friggin' lost.

You are all very inspiring! Trust that I study your talent and slap a mental Post-It onto my cortex with every golden nugget of info you offer.
