Lightbulb Uncle Sam and Voices.com Needs Ya!

Hi Everyone,

We're compiling a web page at Voices.com to feature political voice over demos of all stars and stripes for the 2008 US Election brewing south of the border (that's where most of you live, so I hope you take part!).

If you have a demo that is family friendly, please send it in and let us know which political party the demo is associated with.

Learn more here:

http://blogs.voices.com/voxdaily/200...tical_ads.html

To participate, send your political demo to media@voices.com :)

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Stephanie

P.S. How much political work do you figure is out there this time 'round for the campaign? Noticed any "new media" use of voice over in campaigning, i.e. podcasts, web, avatars?

So if I sent a demo that intoned: "A politician's butt is where mine-canaries go to commit suicide." would I still have a shot...?

Hi Colin,

I'll see what I can do about a sample script. There are so many commercials on for the candidates that it will be easy to get a feel for how to write a generic one. I'll see what I can come up with.

Chuck Patterson just asked for more details and I've left some as a comment on VOX Daily. Deadline to submit is December 31st, 2007.

Best,

Stephanie

P.S. Ronald, we did say to keep it family friendly - are you still interested :) ?

Thanks, Stephanie.

Over the years I have done so many of these poorly-written, childish, manipulative, grotesquely-spun and outright slanderous tomes for American and Canadian politicians that I'm not sure I could do many more.... with a straight face.
