Default Not news to Julie: chocolate as throat balm.

I just got out of the car after a moderately long trip with a very hoarse voice from talking over the road noise. I had a hankering for chocolate, and four little squares of special dark later my normal melifulous tones have returned. This is not news, of course, to Julie (who's first name should really be "Coco"), but others here might find it useful.

Speaking of chocolate, I made a special trip to Whole Foods yesterday for the sole purpose of obtaining a container of cocoa powder. For some reason, our local Whole Foods, which normally charges more for things than regular grocery stores, sells Ghiradelli cocoa powder (the pure stuff) for the same price as the kind that's mixed with sugar. That works out to about 2 bucks a can less than the supermarket. Unfortunately, they were all out. That's the bad news. The good news is, in a different part of the store they had Valrhona cocoa powder. I don't care what that stuff costs. I had to have it!
