Default Oooooh! Bottom feeder sighting!

Ooooohhh! Just got a lead from www.voice123.com. I can do a custom audition, and maybe be chosen to do someone's voicemail for $20!

12 people submitted for it!

Seriously, if you submitted for that and maybe it's your first paid VO job, let us know because, low budget or not, your first VO jobs IS a BIG deal! We want to celebrate it with you!

Happy Saturday!

BTW... I noticed a LOT more gigs in the $1000-$5000 range lately on Voices.com | The #1 Voice Over Marketplace for Voice Overs, Voice Over Talent and Voice Actors. (at least in female auditions) Pretty cool!

Is it possible to wear out a "Delete" button?

Most of V123 leads are ending up in my circular file.
There's gotta be better ways to get into the biz, right?

The schizm between v123 and Voices.com is definitely widening.

As it stands now, I won't be renewing v123...

what a shock,

This is one of the main reasons that I have not signed up with Voice123. I got tired of seeing those $50 and below spots pop up. This and the fact that they would not honor a Student Subscription I received from another coach. Since I had already participated in a Student Subscription in '07 from Julie I am no longer eligible for another, ever.

Note, for those who do respond to the low ball postings on V123, after submitting for a few of these, then that is all you will receive in the future. V123 keys off of what you submit for and if they see a trend where you submit for the low ball gigs, then they feel that is all you are looking for. There is no going back. VO folks need to keep this in mind.

Good to know. I received an invite from v123 for a free month of premium service (after I wrote their customer service and suggested they do exactly that for newcomers...I wasn't begging, honest!). I'll aim high and not sell myself short.
