So I'm thinking about online presence and branding for 08 as you suggest, and I want to make it easier than my current domain which is taylormade.dyn.nu Well, today I find out that TaylorMadeProductions.com and .net are taken as well as Taylor-MadeProductions.com and .net. .Org is available for both. As is TaylorMadeVO.com; TaylorMadeVoiceOvers.com and TheChuckTaylor.com of these, which in your opinion would be the best choice to go with?
Thanks Bro! ct

What if you went with ChuckTaylor and used the sell line "TAYLOR MADE" as your slogan? That way you get the benefit of simplicity without losing the memorable wordplay.
I've always been wary about adopting a .net/.org of an existing domain. Americans have a bad habit of wanting to type in .com, and the fewer steps to reach you the better. I feel that "productions" is a bit cliche. Adding any extra steps should be avoided. Using a hyphen can complicate things. Since my name's CHADD, I opted to leave out the odd spelling from my domain. I tell ya, I have to beat people over the freaking head to get that right. I even sign my emails that way and get responses beginning, "Hey Chad, blah blah...". Do you think I typoed my own name?!!!! Er, uh... where was I? If Chuck Taylor's your name... your brand... and it's simple.... Why not put it front and center? BTW, is that you on Network Solutions (chucktaylor.com)?

Chadd, no,not me. I'd have to go with TheChuckTaylor.com because ChuckTaylor.com was also taken.

So I decided to go with TheChuckTaylor.com, I bought it through yahoo and am forwarding it to my current domain, masking the domain so that it shows thechucktaylor.com in the address bar. Also setting up email as chuck@thechucktaylor.com Thanks for the input!
