Please Help!! New Artwork

Hi! I'm posting this here and in chit-chat in the hopes of getting some feedback and help regarding my newest incarnation of artwork.

Where I need some help would be with photoshop (I don't have it, nor am I and artist)

This is just a mock-up. I'll have a take-out "menu" with what's on the CD.

Any feedback or help is GREATLY appreciated!!!

I'm away from my Photoshop computer, but lemme see if I can help. Can I have the graphic minus your name and email (phone number's cool)? I'd like to see if I can make it more realistic (certainly no offense intended!).... PM me w/details?

what specifically do you want done with it? or are you just asking for opinions on it? if your looking for an opinion, i think it looks a bit cluttered with the scattered text and the colors dont go well. if you are asking for help with it then post some details. here is some of my recent works. they are mostly signatures i have made for users on another forum. its more of a gamers forum so the styles are bit different. lately i've been trying to pull off some pop outs.

I'm so sorry it's taken me so long to respond. I thought I'd receive email notification when someone responded to my post. I was so surprised to find your responses! (Okay, just how many times can I insert the word 'respond' in one paragraph! ha ha!)

Dan7: First of all your artwork is just wonderful!! I am truly impressed... BIG TIME!! I gotta ask, who's the 'Terror of Kawaii' guy? He looks like he'd be loads of fun! Anyway, I did want comments on the concept. The execution, well, we know it sucks. Plus I was looking for help on execution. Thank you so much for offering your help-- I'll be PM-ing you.

terror of kawaii is just the user name of someone on another forum. they requested i make them a signature and they just gave me the pic of some random guy ot work with. that guy isn't really him. seeing as you cant do much signature wisewith just a head i slapped it onto one of my stock backgrunds and made it a pop out and threw the text on.

Dan, NICE STUFF!! Dina, looks like you're getting help. I was "out" yesterday and today and just got back to my computer. I thought the forum was supposed to let me know when anyone posted here. I'll have to check the settings.

Dina, let me know if you need more help. Take a look at the "Branding" thread I started last week too. Not a WHOLE lot there, but may help.

thanks, its just something i do in my spare time... which i dont have any of so its really just an occasional project here and there.

Dina, I'm concerned that there is too much going on in the concept. Where are my eyes supposed to go first? What am I seeing? What do you want me to get?

I'd suggest going to some local event and ask for a couple people to look at the image and tell you what they "see", what they "get" from a first glance. That will tell you a lot.

In this type thing, less is usually more.
