As a new talent I am trying to figure out whether I want to use a headshot on various marketing pieces and on these bulliten boards. What are your thoughts? I have read that it pre-disposes people to forming a judgment about your voice if they see your face and have also heard that websites with a persons picture get twice the hit of others. Any thoughts?

Don't use your headshot on your demo jewel case, your business card or your Voices.com profile as folks will form an opinion of how you should sound. You could also remind a producer of his/her ex-wife/husband (sorry, not sure if shenecke is a she or a he) and that could be a very bad thing.
On the bulletin boards you can use a headshot so we know what you look like. We are not hiring you. Ooops - sorry I jumped in on Chadd's forum ![]() |

Well, now I'm not even gonna answer! (not to mention it's much easier when folks like Dave come to the rescue so quickly)
