Question Anyone had Mic-Mate?

and if you do what do you think of it? I just bought one because on a collegues advice. Pros-Cons are most welcome

It's really just a connection to your computer to use dynamic mics, Jeff Lawrence recommended them as a inexpensive alternative to Edirols EU25. You can plug in your XLR to one end of the device and the other goes into your USB port. I'm going to test it as soon as it arrives and I'll post a demo of the audio quality.

I've seen a device like that in catalogs but it had phantom power as well. Don't remember what they called it. I'll have to look in a BSW catalog and find out. Real tiny thing. I would question the preamp quality.

Here's what I found/bought, I got it for about 60 bucks, I needed something for my laptop and remote recording for foley recording. I'll let you know when I get it. Saw you on Savvy,, good to network man
