Hi Gang,
This is my first post here.

I have several Questions :

1) How many folks here are in the North East?

2) Of you folks how many would be SERIOUSLY (Willing to make the monetary commitment once you say "I am") interested in a training weekend with Pat Fraley?

I am currently attempting to get him out here to CT.

3) what would work best 2 one day workshops or a weekend workshop?

I am also in the process of trying to get Bob Bergen and Jim Alburger and Penny Abshire here too! So we could continue from here out once this becomes a reality... Actually Jim and Penny are looking at a potential October time frame here on the east coast at this point.
(Hey Julie... can we talk about getting you out here too?)

CT is a booming place right now for the film industry I figure why not bring in some serious Voice Training too!

I am dead serious about getting Pat out here- we just need a commitment
from some people.

--I am not limiting this to CT residents-- If you are willing to make the commitment to fill a class/workshop and come up or down to CT
The door will be open to you.

This will be limited to 12 people for 2 days at $395/day.

Any takers?

I'm in southern NH. I wouldn't mind keeping tabs on this in the coming months. I don't know how the money situation will be then but I'll keep checking back.

Cheers,
Cameron

Wow that does sound interesting. If it was later in the year it would be better for the budget.

Hi ANTNY, count me in as an "interested, maybe" from MA. Bottom line as always...time, travel/commute, scheduling conflicts, and cost...no surprises here. (Birds follow me saying "cheep cheep cheap") :-D

Mike,
Jim Alburger and Penny Abshire are talking about coming out in the fall -- Oct. time frame-- for either a 2 day or 3day intensive workshop that they put together...

1) Western Massachusetts here.
2) Maybe
3) What's the difference? Two separate workshops conducted over two days, or one two-day workshop?

Here is the latest--
--Bob Bergen is looking at coming out May 17& 18 Voice Character Weekend Workshop.

I am in the process of working on dates with Pat Fraley- Looks like a June time frame for either an audio book weekend or 2 separate topics on 2 days.

I know Julie Williams wants to come out—I’d Like to get her out in July for her “Proven Voice-Over Techniques for commercial, narration, e-learning, etc.” Workshop

Bettye Zoller has now been added to the list as she would like to do a weekend workshop covering The Business of Voiceovers: From Start-up to Star-Strictly Business Secrets to Success! (one day) and AUDIOBOOK NARRATION TECHNIQUESShe is a Simon and Schuster audiobook author, narrator, producer.

AND Jim and Penny are looking at a potential October time frame here on the east coast for their 2 or 3 day intensive seminar at this point.

CT is a booming place right now for the film industry I figure why not bring in some serious Voice Training too!

I am dead serious about getting these folks out here- we just need a commitment
from some people, to make these weekends successful

Again --I am not limiting this to CT residents-- If you are willing to make the commitment to fill a class/workshop and come up or down to CT the door will be open to you.

More to come soon!!

Please e-mail me with your thoughts on this

Hi, I'm up in Boston, but a ride to CT is no problem.
Maybe a email list of potential takers would be appropriate.
If the workshop is usually 10-12 people, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting tons of members wishing to be notified, and might not see a post
until it's to late.
