I sure could use some advice on pricing. I've passed on several auds recently because I just didn't know how to price them. Most have prices and you either decide you'll work for that or not. My low end is $100 for selected things like local non broadcast, reletively short projects, but my question is about "..to be determined..."
I have the V123 suppplied rate sheet, but using it is another story.
Q's
1. When you get auds that are for several pages of work, how do you determine the price, by the word or the page?
2. If by word, how many words, what font type and size, are on a "normal" page?
3. If by page, what are your rates for that?
4. Which is the prefered way to price...by the word..or the page...?
5. If it's a book, like the 800 page book I got an audition for, and couldn't even begin to price, how do you price that?
Thanks,
Jason
