Hi Alex,
First off, Nice Pipes! You've got a "radio sound" that could work to your advantage. I'm not too familiar with the market you're in, but a lot of the work in the US is moving toward "conversational" tones - may want to add in a bit more of that.
On the "Demo Reads" file, I'd definitely lose the long intro. It's 30 seconds you don't need, IMHO. Best to keep it to a short slate and then wow them with the goods...
"Characters"... I'm a bit more comfy commenting here. First, at 4+ minutes it's way too long. Cut, hack, slash it down. I like the range that your voice has, but you'll need to choose your material and characters carefully, and have it fully produced. There seem to be a lot of impressions, which can be a potential mine field. Doing a known animated character is rough - you'd better be 100% dead on or you'll lose the listener. People are a bit more forgiving with celebrity impressions, but even then it's a hard sell. If you can take the vocal qualities of some of the voices in this demo and come up with your own characters, you'll have a much better chance of hitting the target. Try to choose voices that are each unique in some way. People stop listening when they hear a repeat...
I'll leave the "Corporate" one for more qualified ears to comment on.
Hope this helps a bit,

Hey Alvox,
I agree with Joe, nice sounding voice. On the corporate read...I would try to come up with 3 or 4 different styles of corporate readings, not just the one. I'm not saying that the one you have sucks, just doesn't give the listener and hopefully future client much of a choice. They either like it or your out. Now all that being said, I have to say that I am working toward this fulltime myself. I just produced a commercial and narrative demo at a well known midwestern (US) voice over coaching and production house. They feel that my niche will be in the narrative end of things and I agree. Have a listen if you like to what they did for me on my narrative demo. The length, styles of reads all different gives a client some what of a choice. You Alvox have variety, show it off. You can check mine out at Craig Koepke - Voice Over Talent (http://cskoepke.voices.com)
Take care my downunder friend,

One other thing I was wondering about. Do you think the actual volume of the demo's was correct, or should I boost it or back it off a bit? Cheers for your help
