I look forward to every issue of V-Zine. I find the voiceover tips helpful and the success stories of other v-o artists most encouraging. A+ in my book! (a little homage to Pat Fraley there, with the sunnies icon)

Bad news, folks. The cover story about auditions for a Marvel Comics animated video adaptation of The Avengers is dated. The link in the story took me to a page announcing the contest which expired in September 2004. The reason they asked for auditions on video is they included some of the more "entertaining" ones on the DVDs as a supplemental feature. I'm a huge fan boy of Marvel, and have both of the Untimate Avengers DVDs. I was surprised that they might be pitching out the entire cast, and it turns out, the article was just old copy. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

Thank you Brice, for that little piece of information. I will talk to Julie about this and we'll try not to repeat something like that again. Oh, and I was so interested in that, too :P

Just got my first V-Zine and found it very interesting. The Pat Fraley article on Home Recording is excellent. Thanks

V-Zine is a great resource, packed with information -- visually appealing and well written. Thanks for making it available!

Hi Bobbin,
I thought you were on the list! (Of course, constant contact maintains the list, I don't...I just assumed!)

So Julie,

I would like to simply say that your on-line magazine is very professional and full of useful tips. I'm sure it is alot of work, but I'm sure I am just one of many who appreciate it.

Hi Stef,
You have to add yourself at www.voice-overs.com. I guess it went to your spam folder? The only way you wouldn't hvae gotten it (as far as I know) is if you unsubscribed, or if it went to spam folder.

Pls let me know if you saw April or got may.

Hello Julie. As I've mentioned before, in emails and ShoutBox posts, I always appreciate receiving the Voice Over Insider magazine EVERY month! I also want to thank you for including the story about the Voice-Over Journey podcast in the May 2008 issue. I have already received one mp3 story from another voice actor, to include in the next episode of the podcast, and hope to receive more and more and really make this a shared community podcast.

Thanks again Julie!

Hey Julie,

I enjoy reading each month's issue, but had a bit of trouble with the Mythbusters section this month.

Dunno if it's just me, but it came out as Yellow lettering on a White background!

Maybe you could post a copy of the text here for us to read?

Keep up all your hard work - it is much appreciated,

Julie, I appreciate all the excellent free content you publish in the VoiceOver Insider. You've got a great team working with you as well. Thanks for putting out the VOI. And now that I can download it directly into the GoodReader app on my iPad, I'm going to save a ton on paper and ink printing it out each month!
