My friends...it is the end of an era...I have upgraded my mic pre, and would like to sell my venerable Grace Designs Model 101 mic pre.

I have kept this thing in excellent shape, and it has treated me well in return. I've recorded with it for the last 4 years and it works just as billed.

Why am I getting rid of it, some may ask? I'm getting the new Grace pre! It has a few new features and a little more gain, so it's going to work perfect in my revamped setup.

Price shipped is $400. PM or e-mail me.

And something interesting...I'm starting a gear review column soon. Just a tease.

the "venerable" from Venable. Brad, do you have any unprocessed pieces from the Grace? I have been really curious about this pre for a long time and would love to hear what you have.

I'm going to be putting up some files in a review in the next couple of weeks. I'll be sure and let you know about where to read it.

The Grace is SOLD, btw.

I have some unprocessed Grace clips(though not just voice..all acoustic-centric though)

the grace is very true to the source. I like to call it a "hospital light" as opposed to "candlelight" just shows what is there in all its glory(or lack of :) adds nothing, takes nothing away..). One of my first preamps was a grace preamp, though Ive moved on since then from grace to millennia and now to a combination of pendulum and dav, which I love.

ive got a collection of 40 or so different pieces , each recorded with 9 different "clean" mic preamps.

maybe yall would find them useful?
