"I feel like a tiny bird with a big song!"
Jerry Van Amerongen, Ballard Street, 08-18-05

Until about 2 weeks ago I was VERY frustrated. Then came some work, and I forgot. But I'm trying not to forget the forgetting... Because I know too many of you are bustin' ass & tearing up the mic but not feeling enough love comin' back. Just be patient-- for your health!

Enough preaching, let's talk Jesus. Actually, it's funny-- I am CONVINCED my younger honest-guy sound does well with religious folks, especially when dealing with youth-focused stuff. Just got pulled for a project speaking to peeps about the big G-O-D. I play a guy who's faithful on his own terms, sick of the church telling him what to do. Now he's even MORE dedicated to The Trinity & ready to talk.

Jordan. The country. In the Mid-East. I'm now the official voice for Kulacom Jordan-- a tech communications company operating on a very Westernized level. Apparently Jordan is a pretty hip (or getting there) country! The biggest deal I've yet to sign, a year retainer.

"Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of a joy you must have somebody to divide it with."
Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

All you people floor me with how awesomely inspiring you are. THANKS.

I really appreciate all the positive attention-- it adds a bag of sugar to an already sweet treat.

Still testing the waters with V123 so I didn't want to make a big deal of WHERE it came from (outta fear of endorsing a product I've yet to completely know), but yes-- right from an audition thru 'em. Who knew?

In supplemental news, I've been humbled once again with the award of another client thru my agent. Trying to shake that no-no feeling of being accidentally let into the cool kids club... with the fear someone's gonna find me out. (You shoulda seen my wife and me jumping around like a couple of 8-yr-olds going to Disneyland. She's really freakin' awesomely supportive.)

Anyhoo... Let's keep this big head o' mine under control. Moving on!

I'd love to hear your audition ..... ( I enjoy hearing what the client chose after reading their direction).

No problem... I just downloaded the files from V123 (sorry for the low quality).

Chadd, I know your past struggles. I can only say that it is a well deserved breakthrough for a very talented individual. Congrats to you my friend.

Chadd, I particularly liked the delivery of the first one, the Jesus one. Maybe because the story you told in it resonates with my own personal experience.

But nicely done!
