I did this for a guy in NYC so he could hear all the styles I do... and I hope the "no-no" way of combining demos doesn't kick me in the rear. What do ya think? (for those following the Chaddtrain, you'll hear a produced audition for that tv narration I'm still crossing my fingers on snagging)
I give thanks... for YOU!!

Isn't this simply a so-called "Generic" demo? I use one all the time.

So, not a bad thing then?

Nothing that gets you work is a bad idea.

I hear a lot of these types of demos Chadd. So long as you are labeling it properly, ie: Generic Demo, Variety Demo, Compilation Demo etc. Nothing wrong with showing your skills brother.

Yeah - it's Kosher in some markets, and not in others.
Out in La La Land, the rule is not to mix, but I've had requests for mixed demos in the past.
I personally think it is best to focus on one specialty per demo. Don't you think most clients are looking for a single style? Agents may find a mixed demo useful, but I'm not sure how well it plays for customers.
Think about it like a movie. There are few (if any) successful movies that mix all styles (action, comedy, drama, musical, noir, etc). A bit of spice is nice in a demo, but you wouldn't want to eat a bowl of curry powder...
YMMV,
