ITS THE GREAT PUMPKIN !!!

For those of you who are willing and able, I invite you to a gathering of VO talents and allied professions here in the puckerbrush on Saturday, October 11th at Milford, New Hampshire's "Great Pumpkin Festival"

Great Pumpkin Festival - Milford, NH (http://www.milfordpumpkinfestival.org/saturday.htm)

As you can see from the website, it will be a full day of food, music and the charm of the town I've called home for 29 years.

It will be my pleasure to be your host for this day as we gather for shop talk, other talk, scarecrow making, pumpkin carving, and enjoy each others company and friendship.

A central meeting place and hospitality room within walking distance to all activities will be available.

RSVP via forum pm is appreciated.

I look forward to meeting all of you who can make it to the puckerbrush !!

Be Well

Oh, how unfortunate! I would have loved to trek up there at this glorious time of year, but that weekend is not good for me, as two previous commitments are etched in stone on my calendar.

Thanks for the invite, John!

That's my mother's birthday so I may just have to run up to puckerbrush country and go by way of Milford.
I see you asked for RSVPs via forum PM, but if people are thinking of going they should probably also post their intentions here so we'll all have an idea of who we'd get to meet if we opt to show up.

I'm afraid I probably won't be able to make it, although I might be tantalizingly close. I'm leaving Hartford between 3-3:30 on Friday afternoon in order to make it to Manchester for a 6:30 dinner reservation for my mother's birthday. But, I have to be back in the Hartford area for work on Saturday at 1 PM, so I'm thinking I'll either turn around and head back home after dinner or stay at my mother's house and take off around 9 AM Saturday via Route 101 to enjoy the foliage (and avoid the Mass Pike). That means I would pass right through Milford but, unfortunately, won't have time to stop. :'(

I waved as I passed through Milford at around 10 AM on Saturday. I wish I could have stopped but I had a job to do in Hartford at 1 PM. Maybe next year.

You were blessed with such a nice day. And what a bunch of good-looking guys (even the shy one behind the balloon!) Hope to make it next year.
