Hi Julie!

Konnichi wa! Nihongo ga hanaseru!

I don't know if this qualifies me, but I have studied JAPANESE for 10 years and speak at an intermediate level of fluency.

My reading is elementary (but better than beginner elementary level), because I don't practice much nowadays. But if the script is in "romaji" (roman letters), I'm there!

You can find several Japanese samples on my voices.com page, or I can email them if and when necessary! (stef@stefsvoice.com)

Hope you're enjoying the conference.

Cheers....

Well, I definitely don't speak anything beyond English, however, I have been working with a local talent on some Industrial work. He is multi-lingual and speaks Native Russian, and Spanish (Cuban and Neutral).

His delivery is perfect for Industrial and eLearning, but not yet good enough for Commercial. He has no Announcer delivery whatsoever! He is a technical Novice and uses my studio as we have to match quality in our work.

If you or your client is interested, feel free and contact my email to request a custom demo or more information. He is also able to translate. Kat@KatsVoice.net 970.769.0006. His name is Hugo.

How about DUTCH? I'm a native Dutch speaker who happens to live in Pennsylvania. That doesn't make me Pennsylvania Dutch, though.

Although 95% of my work is in English, I'd love to do some work in my mother tongue. Here's my brand new site:

Just now saw this--I speak Korean, and I have a pretty good accent (I have indeed fooled people into thinking I'm Korean and not a white Jewish girl from New York). You can hear a bit of me speaking Korean in my animation demo on the demos page of my website, http://www.listentomelanie.com (http://www.listentomelanie.com/) (quick link: http://listentomelanie.com/demo.mp3).

Has anyone responding to this thread ever heard back from a voice-seeker?

Perhaps it's time to archive the responses and move on.

I'm suprised that no one looks at the date. Julie started this thread 2 years ago...it's old people...look at your dates before responding to a thread!

Notice the "post counter" on most of the people replying? They find this thread in a Google search, register, post and hope they catch a gig. I don't have a problem with it, but maybe Julie should be the one to decide whether she still needs the thread to be open?
