I don't want to create the impression that I am complaining about the budget for this job. Obviously, if I were unwilling to do the work for that kind of money I would not have submitted an audition. And it would appear that I was by no means alone in responding. I was merely pointing out that this is not the most lucrative project out there and Pierre's clients are the lucky ones to have so many top quality voices from which to choose.
Pierre is correct that this would appear to be a relatively effort-free project but, let's face it, isn't that the way it is with most of what we voiceover guys & gals do? We are mostly selling our skill rather than our labor. I like to describe voiceover work as extremely easy if you can do it, and impossible if you can't. Besides, I imagine the bulk of the business we are attempting to generate from sites such as Voices.com and Voice123 is work we would do in our home studios rather than travelling to a facility in London or NY or LA or Anytown, USA.
