I'm really sorry if some were missed out in our thank you email, you being left out of it was simply an omission (we had to send it to a LOT of people, and must have missed few incoming emails) but I can assure you that all auditions received were forwarded to our client.
Regarding the rate, it might be lower than the standard in the USA but is pretty much standard for
regular ongoing work over here in the UK, recorded in a home studio and delivered by ftp - as opposed to recording in a studio in London, which attracts much higher fees.
The reason behind this is that it's work done in your own time rather than at a predifined booked time, slot for which you then cannot accept another booking (in other words, the client is more flexible).
As Julie said I am also a voiceover artist and despite being very well established in my market and having done this professionally for the last 14 years I would be happy to do a similar gig in the same conditions, taking two hours of my time for the amount mentioned, at least once, sometimes more, times a month - but each to their own!
