I believe I have the chops for this industry, but knowing I face the gauntlet of those in the position to open or even slam doors, gives me pause.... I do need to know how to approach them... Reading the Art of
VO (thanks J Alburger) gave me a sense of the work flow and technique, but dealing with agents is another kettle...
I have a questions for those agents: How do you respond to the levels of talent you encounter? Are you candid with those that haven't got it? Do you cushion your responses? Do you ever turn someone down, only to see them working elsewhere? How approachable are you? Does talent shine through and overcome other factors? Do you consider yourself an excellent judge of
VO talent ( or good enough)?
