I’ve been a lurker for a few months and it’s time to pipe up and introduce myself. I started studying
VO about 6 years ago but was really half-assed about it. Four years ago I became fully-assed about it and committed fully.
I run the office at Voice One (
www.voiceoneonline.com), one of the top
VO schools in the nation which is owned by noted author Elaine Clark, “There’s Money Where Your Mouth Is.”
Studied with such luminaries and forum posters as Bob Bergen. J.S. Gilbert, Harlan Hogan as well as with Elaine herself. Duh ☺
I’m originally from the UK and although my British accent has virtually disappeared, I can still find it again with ease. Mostly hired to record corporate narrations and for character work. I’ve done some directing for localization of corporate VOs and dialect directing for games.
I look forward to offering my two cents on the boards
