I haven't actually tried SingSnap since I got all my new equipment :) I'll have to give that a shot and see if it works ... but I might run into the same problem you did. You could always just plug a cheapo mic that came with your computer or something, into the "mic in" ... That's what I was doing ...
In any case, I think you did a great job. :) I certainly got the jist of the tune, so no worries there. It sounded kinda "Bad To The Bone" to me.
