I want to thank you for allowing me to review Kristine Oller’s book Feeding Your Focus. I am just starting my career in the voiceover world and already feel I have some basic tools to begin. Feeding Your Focus helps those who may be struggling to get started by explaining the foundations for several areas that are critical to success.

I found myself taking dubious notes and making sure I listened to the CD’s as well as reading along with the accompanying PDF document. This action helped to reinforce the actions described in the book.

I enjoyed listening to how the author incorporated the idea of the “Flowerpot”. This also brought a unique visual aspect as I could picture these same references building in my own mind.

I feel I am better prepared to pursue my dreams after listening to all the chapters. Several times throughout the book, I was so encouraged that I stopped the CD and began to identify my goals and started to organize my office, then I remembered I do have a deadline to submit this review and so I returned to the task at hand.

I liked the package of the materials, but I do have a suggestion. The first thing I like to do is load my books on CD into my iTunes application, upon loading the CD’s I had to rename the tracks as they had not yet been labeled, this caused a slight delay in being able to enjoy this wonderful information.
