Hello everyone.

My name is Carl and I'm a voice-a-holic. "Hi Carl"

I started voicing when I was a kid. I guess because I thought it was cool and some of the older kids were doing it. I started small, thinking I could control it. You know, just making up voices for comic book characters, that sort of thing. Then, I started making up voices and redoing commercials in my head all the time. I just couldn't make it through the day without it. It started interfering with my real job and I almost got fired. It got so bad that I'd get looped at parties and do all kinds of gags because it made people laugh.

Next thing I know I'm in a back alley digging through bins trying to find copy, any copy, I was so strung out I didn't even care I just needed a fix.

Then a good friend told me I was a Voice-a-holic and made me promise I'd get help.

And that's my story. Thanks to folks like you, I was able to admit it and now I have a home studio that's safe and clean and hopefully, I'll be able to keep it that way.
