Hi Ed - I have not recorded any jazz but have played a ton of it over the last 25 years - actually I did record 2 LPs with the University of Akron Jazz Ensemble when I was there from 1982-6 (and co-produced a CD retrospective with my jazz prof upon his retirement in 2000), and was a member of the Cleveland Jazz Orchestra - got to play one-offs with many giants including Mike Brecker, Wynton Marsalis, Red Rodney, Louis Bellson, Clark Terry, Dr Billy Taylor, Carl Fontana from the Kenton band - what a time and an education...most of my work was corporate jazz and the odd club dates. Looking forward to getting the wood back into my hands and laying a groove down, just gotta find some players in Wilmington (new town for me)...
