Hi all,
Just what the world needs...another aspiring voice artist. I'm new to
VO, but I've been in broadcasting for 30+ years. College radio, two years with the American Forces Radio and TV Service in Thailand during that unpleasantness in Vietnam, and 30 years with the Kentucky Educational TV network as audio supervisor and announcer.
So, to be honest, I'm a "recovering announcer".
To that end, I've done an eight week tele-course with James Alberger and Penny Abshire and plan to get some private coaching from them.
I've listened to Julie's CDs and read several books on the subject.
I've posted a demo in the critique section and welcome your comments and suggestions.
I believe I breeched board etiquette when I posted the demo before doing my introduction bit. Sorry. I'll get better. Just blame it on my dyslexia.
