I posted that link in a public post on my
LiveJournal, and people have thanked for the reminder (or good-naturedly harrumphed because they're ineligible to donate blood). I don't know how well it will impact the KY blood center, but at least it's a few more pints, nationwide.
When I have a day that I can have a friend take me to get leeched (and watch my son), I'll do so... after checking my eligibility (surgery last year)... I'm A-, if I recall correctly.
