Jon - As it turns out, there
is someone here who doesn't mind giving me a hand. (Looks like I have a savior!) I may end up doing all the engineering myself.
Greg - Looks like this seeker added all the specifics after my audition was submitted. He sure does want quite a bit. For all the work, including talent and mastering, his price bracket ($100-250) is low. I've seen 2,300 words end up costing as much as $600 for talent alone.
Lee - It's interesting. This guy wants the
entire podcast PLUS two news articles recorded, cut, mastered, and mixed down to a single file. It's as though he wants ME to do the entire podcast. A little unconventional.
Julie - If by "production facilities" you mean mixing and mastering software, then yes. I should be able to produce a quality mix without too much difficulty. He's not asking for atmosphere or music, at least.
Dina offered to help me out (

I'm not sure how this client will respond to the re-quote and my new audition files.... we'll just have to see. If your offer is still open after we touch base with this guy, the more the merrier! Again, though, I'm not sure he'll accept the re-quote.
