A friend of mine and fellow Grahm Jr. College, Boston graduate runs a web site of great airchecks of jocks from the bygone era of AM rock n' roll radio. Check out Radio:Aircheck:northeastairchecks.com. He even had PAMS jingle singers produce an original jingle for his site. If you search hard and long enough, my first aircheck from the summer of 1970 (I was 17) is there under the name of Jesse James (don't ask) at 1240/WSNY in Schenectady, NY. It's good for a laugh anyway. There are airchecks of some of the greatest names in radio from the 60s and 70s, including the aforementioned Wolfman himself.
